Byzantine helmet, 2 mm steel
Reconstruction of a byzantine helmet of the 10th Century. The calotte is built from 7 riveted and concentrically welded clips. The helmet has a brass peak to attach hair or feathers.
This kind of helmet usually was worn together with a chain mail coif.
A high-class, riveted and adjustable liner with chin straps is included.
